MEET AGNIA

I grew up in a refugee immigrant household here in the Greater Toronto Area. A career path in professional cosmetics was considered unorthodox in my upbringing. Nevertheless, I remained true to myself and listened to my inner voice since the age of 11, telling me to embrace my passion.
When I was finishing high school, I was fortunate to have a compassionate support system encouraging me to attend Sheridan College’s Cosmetic Techniques and Management program.
THE START OF IT ALL

As amazing as my college experience was, the real exposure to a career in professional cosmetics was when I received an offer to work for multiple high-end luxury makeup brands. I began with Bobbi Brown, Chanel and Estée Lauder.
My time representing these brands taught me the importance of establishing, growing and maintaining genuine relationships with my clients. Even something as simple as greeting each person by name made a lasting impression. It became so much more to me than reaching the sales quotas.
It was my way of making a positive change in people’s day to day lives. I realized I had so much to offer, and I took the bold step into my new journey as freelance Professional Makeup Artist.
I FOUND MY CALLING
Whether it was high-end luxury bridal services, corporate, special occasions etc., I knew my calling was found as a Makeup Artist working with individuals who aspire to look and feel their best. This is where I thrive. This is where I belong.
My intuitive ability to understand people on a deeper level allowed me to offer my clients a space to feel comfortable, stress-free and safe. At the core, I found my role - I became a listener. Everything my clients shared with me was the key to delivering the look they desired and deserved.
Simply put, listening is the way to someone’s heart, and I make sure my clients are heard. This is the foundation upon which I built and hold my practice for 12 years and counting.
Now more than ever, I appreciate just how saturated the makeup industry has become in the GTA. The growing number of industry professionals only reinforces how much I value and appreciate my clients’ for choosing me as their personal makeup artist for every memorable moment.

WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER

Now to take thing’s to a more personal level, my heart and soul beats to great music. I often accept the challenge of learning the words of a difficult rap song at full speed, 90’s music is and always will be the reason my blood flows through my veins, and old school dance-off movies are played on repeat!
My home is my pride and joy. I am obsessed with interior designing each room to feel like a boho inspired, warm and cozy place. We all love the convenience of IKEA but you’re more likely to find me pulled over at a yard sale, in an antique shop or scrolling through marketplace to find that lived-in piece of furniture with a one-of-a-kind story.
